Accomplishments
The Dayton Southeast Weed and Seed initiative promotes community
development and neighborhood unity through a variety of events and
activities including National Night Out Against Crime, Appalachian
Outreach in cooperation with Sinclair Community College and
continuation of Appalachian interviews, Youth Arts and Culture Program
with the Dayton Art Institute, Spanish-to-English and English-to-Spanish
training at Weed and Seed Safe Havens, Huffman Seniors Place Christmas
party with Santa direct from the North Pole, successful "clean
alley" sweeps for two target area neighborhoods and more!.
The following are stories of success, reports on target area conditions,
and other items of interest to keep target area residents informed and
motivated.
